Visit some of the  sights  and  sounds  from the book  Delivering Diamonds,  with true stories of light and hope in a harsh world.   Hear the music that plays a major role in the storyline...

Diamond Head  in Hawaii becomes a gathering place for those who are lost.  One Easter morning, Ben Stanford discovers their light in this crater.  A key character in  Rock, DIamonds and Stone,  Ben struggles to make a positive difference for children, starting with his own son.  Ben questions the impact of his efforts as a father and citizen.  Many everyday people help children in peril.

Like Ben, we  can find solace in difficult times;  perhaps peace comes to one person in an old-growth forest, to another in the  Blue Ridge Mountains  or the  Boundary Waters  or a  Virginia battlefield .   Others gain tranquility and perspective in the open spaces of  Monument Valley   or  Death Valley .    We can find refuge virtually anywhere: even in our homes and within our minds and hearts.
Check back often and see this site grow.  Thank you for your involvement.
We see trust in a baby's face.   We find hope in our collective efforts to improve the lives of our children.

How can we make a positive difference for kids?  We can start in our own families and homes with education and awareness.  Child abuse, neglect and exploitation are subjects that many would prefer to ignore, but we cannot afford to disregard  the facts .

Please share your ideas on this vital topic: protecting children.

Suggest any links to worthy causes, foundations; inspiring books, songs and films on this universal campaign to help children everywhere.   Efforts continue both quietly and with media coverage: from  Haiti  to  The Sudan ; in  Japan  and within our own  neighborhoods.
